Channel of nivernais  The forests of Paris area are not sufficient to supply Paris firewood, research turned to Morvan and Bazois. Since the 16th century and until the years 1900-1920, enormous quantities of Wood were forwarded to Paris by water way and in particular by the river of Yonne. It is starting from this industry of Wood, that was born the Channel of Nivernais. Composed of 110 locks and 180 km length, it begins of the town of Saint-Léger-des-Vignes in Nievre to finish in Auxerre in the center of Yonne.

luzy  During the Middle Ages sits of a baronnery, Luzy developed thanks to the installation of a way of railroad Nevers-Chagny. The town hall is installed in the Hotel of Nault de Champagny, remains decorated by works of famous artists and among them tapestries of Aubusson of the 13th century. The Tower of the Barons (14th century) contains a museum of the local life.
